Lawrence Maya received his Juris Doctorate from Loyola University School of Law in Chicago and has been practicing law since 1999. He has successfully litigated a wide range of injury cases on behalf of his clients, including automobile accidents, slip and falls, products liability, construction, wrongful death, medical and nursing home malpractice. He is an experienced trial and litigation attorney, and has participated as a guest trial instructor and judge for the Chicago Bar Association.
Mr. Maya is licensed by both the State of Illinois and the Northern District of Illinois. He has appeared and argued before the Illinois Appellate Court.
Mr. Maya is also an active member of the community, having served as a sponsoring member for the Little Village Chamber of Commerce in Chicago. He has also authored a legal column for a local Spanish newspaper in Chicago. In 2017, Mr. Maya was invited to and participated in a videotaped discussion regarding Gun Control Laws in Illinois.
